Former British Broadcasting Corporation Consultants Undergo Members of Parliament's Questioning Following Assertions of Partiality in Disclosed Document

Former BBC advisers appearing in front of Members of Parliament

We begin with questions from Conservative MP the committee chair, that chairs the panel.

She initiates by offering details to the leaked document written by Michael Prescott and printed in a daily publication.

"I don't want the BBC slanting in any particular direction, I just want it straight, impartial and equitable," he states.

When asked if he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is systematically partial, Prescott replies: "No, I do not. Let's be clear, a great deal the British Broadcasting Corporation does is world class - both informative and fictional content."

However, he continues: "There is significant effort that needs to be done at the British Broadcasting Corporation."

Another previous consultant BBC adviser questioned by the group, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it has a "ongoing system and lively discussion" across fluid and multifaceted topics.

"Did the BBC willing to have a proper discussion and argument and act accordingly?" she questions. "In my view, yes they were."
