The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
