Devoted followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who leaped a barricade and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was due to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Many fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others requested social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande appeared surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.
